Sometimes God closes doors so that we consider options we never expected. When things don’t work out as planned or our chosen opportunities don’t open, our brains keep trying to “solve the problem.” That’s often when our creativity kicks in. We may discover a solution that we never considered before.
As I write this, an opportunity is not working out as planned, and I am considering options I had not before. What is my next YES, and where will it take me?
What is out there that you never thought you’d try? What have you counted yourself out of that God may want to count you in on?
My friend, God has wonderful opportunities for you, but you may see yourself painted into a corner. What if you went ahead and stepped into the paint?
Exploration involves risk, and that is tough. Exploration can sometimes be messy. That paint will get on your shoes, and you will leave a trail behind you, but what if that trail leads others into the new possibilities that you discover? What if your footsteps lead someone else to discover their God-given purpose? What if your paint-steps pioneer a new path for those behind you?
I am not a big fan of risk. It’s my natural tendency to err toward safety. But I know that I have found myself in the will of God when I was willing to step out of where I was to try something different. What step do you need to explore? Just one step can make all the difference.
